Hours: Full-Time 8.30-4.30 (Mon-Thurs) 8.30-2.30 (Fri)
Location: 1st Floor, Cleveland Court, Cleveland Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3HR
This role is all about supporting our students' well-being, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and ready to succeed. You'll be the go-to person for safeguarding, attendance support, and providing guidance that empowers students to achieve their goals. Think of yourself as the person who helps turn potential into success!
โจ What Youโll Be Doing โจ
๐ฆธโโ๏ธSafeguarding Superhero
๐ก๏ธ Lead on all safeguarding matters, making sure every student feels safe, supported, and listened to.
๐ Keep records up to date and stay in the know about safeguarding legislation and guidance.
๐ค Work with outside agencies to get students the help they need, when they need it most.
๐ Attendance Champion
๐ Encourage students to turn up, stay engaged, and get the most from their time with us.
๐ Track attendance, follow up on absences, and make sure students stay on track.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Meet with parents/guardians to tackle attendance concerns head-on and find positive solutions.
๐กAdvice & Guidance Guru
๐ Inspire students to aim high, believe in themselves, and achieve their dreams.
๐งญ Signpost useful resources, career advice, and support services to keep students informed and empowered.
๐ฌ Be a friendly and approachable source of advice, encouragement, and support.
๐ Progression Pro
๐ค Work with staff to make sure every student moves on to something positive โ whether thatโs further study, training , or a job.
๐ Help students identify their next steps and stay focused on their goals.
๐ Keep in touch with students post-program to cheer them on as they smash their goals!
โ What You Need to Bring to the Table โ
โ Level 2 in English and Maths
โ Solid knowledge of safeguarding legislation
โ Experience working with 16-18-year-olds
โCommitted to delivering high-quality learning experiences and positive outcomes.
โ Amazing communication skills (you'll be chatting with students, parents, and agencies).
โ Brilliant organisation and planning skills.
โ A positive, solution-focused attitude with the ability to think on your feet.
โ The ability to handle challenging situations with patience and determination.
โ Most importantly, a passion for motivating and inspiring young people.
๐ก Bonus points if you have..
โ CEIAG Level 3/4 qualification
โ Level 3 safeguarding training
