About you:
Are you passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus and inspiring the next generation? Cambourne Church is seeking a dedicated leader to grow and shape our ministry for children and young people (0–18), both within the church and across the wider community.

About the Role:
You’ll lead and develop a thriving ministry, building on strong existing foundations while responding creatively to new opportunities. Working alongside volunteers and in partnership with West Cambridge Christian Youth Ministries, you’ll help nurture faith, discipleship, and community among young people.

Key Responsibilities:
Based on our shared vision and values, the role summary is as follows –

The role is vibrant and varied. You will take accountability for the direction, oversight and delivery of our ministry with children and young people, in the context of the church’s wider vision and mission as outlined above.

A key element of the role is building and supporting self-sustaining volunteer teams with the goal of growing children and young people as disciples of Jesus Christ.

You will work in close partnership with the church minister as part of the staff team.

Critical Deliverables of the Role –

· Drive and deliver a strong vision for ministry, evangelism, and discipleship among those up to the age of eighteen.

· Build and nurture self-sustaining teams, which engage and develop the skills and strengths of the volunteers, to minister missionally among children and young people both within the church and wider community.

· Model discipling children and young people through relationships, as well as through appropriate programmes.
