Lead Youth Worker

Saltburn Christian Projects, operating under the name Doorways, is looking for a Lead Youth Worker.

The charity started over 25 years ago and works predominantly with teenagers in schools and at an after school club in Emmanuel Church Hall. Doorways is based in Saltburn by the Sea and works across East Cleveland. This paid position is fully funded up to the end of 2027 and plans are in place to seek longer term funding. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with teenagers particularly in wellbeing  anxiety and other teenage challengers. There is a volunteer network but the successful candidate must be a self-starter who can build on the success of the existing Youth Worker who is moving on to another role.
